Today you will be practising your throwing and kicking at a target.
Here are few more ideas that you might like to try. Enjoy! So today you will be practising your running and jumping! What do you need to do to run well? Here is a clue; arms bent, eyes looking forward and what else? Can you remember how we play the traffic light game, flush the toilet or life saver (hula hoops needed)? Can you show the members of your family how to play? I have attached a link to PDST site which has great resources for helping to support the development of the skills of running & jumping! Click below: I would love to hear how you got on with your athletics activities today and to see your family team poster and motto. [email protected] I am very excited to let you boys know that this week is Active Week!
I hope you have great fun creating your own dance sequence and creating your own family team poster with a name and motto! 'Ár ndícheall i gcónaí' this is our school motto and it means 'Our best effort always'. This is something I try to remind the boys of regularly. It is about trying your best on that particular day whilst also remembering to be kind to yourself. Remember it is important that you try YOUR best, nobody else's! So this week have a go, have fun and be kind to yourself and others around you! Hi all,
I just wanted to say thanks so much for taking part in the quizzes and for sending messages and pictures. It has been so wonderful to hear how you are all getting on. Feel free to send a message just to say Hi they are more than welcome; [email protected] I hope you have seen our video message from all of us in school to you boys at home. If not, just click on the link below! Take a look at this incredible project of the Maiden's Tower and surrounding areas! So much time and effort went into creating this amazing model. Fantastic painting and building, I'm sure this took a lot of hard work. The presentation of the finished piece is truly magnificent, well done! It is wonderful to see siblings smiling and enjoying being in a tent together!
Sticky tennis, building blocks, arts & crafts and the baking look like lots of fun! Hi boys,
This week I was thinking about our lovely 'Eat a Rainbow' display that we have in school. We walk by it each day when we are going to the yard. Can you remember any of the fruit or vegetables that you might have seen on the rainbow? I try to make my plate look like a rainbow with lots of fruit and vegetables when I'm eating my breakfast, lunch and dinner. Why is it a good idea to try to eat a rainbow of fruit and vegetables? Let's make a sandwich!
What are you going to put into your sandwich? What type of bread are you going to use? Do you put the butter on before or after you put in the filling? I'm looking forward to seeing all your yummy sandwiches but make sure you take the picture before you eat it!! [email protected] |
