Good morning scientists, I hope you are looking forward to making your own butter today. Here are a few questions before you start;
What do you need for the experiment? How long do you think it will take to make the butter? (Prediction) What happens to the cream when you shake it for a long time? (Results) Remember to shake, shake and shake some more! I hope you have lots of fun with this. Can't wait to hear all about it! This week is based on the theme of 'Food'. We have suggested lots of fun activities such as making your own butter and painting using fruit and vegetables. We hope that you enjoy the theme and have fun with it!

I hope you and your families are all well. I really miss seeing all your smiley faces. I know how much you must be missing school and your friends too. Please send in photos of all the things you are doing with your family. Miss Rice and I would love to see your activities. Stay safe and hopefully we will be back together soon. Adrienne :) Here are a few tips to follow for holding your scissors. In school, the boys would be used to having a smiley face sticker on their thumb nail and making sure they can see the smiley face at all times when cutting.
